LOOK: Taytay Tiangge Has Officially Reopened

(SPOT.ph) With quarantine protocols in and around the National Capital Region forcing stores and retailers to temporarily close up shop, the famed Taytay Tiangge made its budget-friendly fashion items available online through Taytay Local. But in case shopping clothes online just isn’t your thing—nothing beats getting to see styles and fabrics up close, after all—you’ll be happy to know that Taytay Tiangge has officially reopened!

Taytay Tiangge officially reopened in early September with new protocols for health and safety. As you might expect, face masks and face shields are required. Visitors are also encouraged to bring rubbing alcohol and observe social distancing.

According to a Facebook post by local blogger Turkong Pinoy, Taytay Tiangge is open on weekdays and weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., though each tiangge in the shopping complex can have varying operating hours. He also notes that visitors are required to fill out a health declaration form upon entry and bring their own shopping bags.

In the post, Turkong Pinoy also gives a glimpse inside the reopened budget-shopping haven. He told SPOT.ph that he posted the photos "to help the struggling economy bounce back, in my own little way." If you've visited Taytay Tiangge before, seeing it up and running once again will feel like a fond memory of the "old normal," but in case you've never dropped by, check out what they have in store for you!
