Samsung Brings One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI to 2021-2022 Flagships

Great news for Galaxy fans! Samsung has announced that several of its top smartphones from 2021 and 2022 will receive the One UI 6.1 update, complete with some advanced Galaxy AI features. This announcement comes as a relief to users who were previously unsure if their devices would get these cool new features.

Here’s the catch! Owners of 2021 Galaxy flagships, such as the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3, will enjoy a limited set of AI perks. Expect Google Circle Search and Magic Rewrite to customize the tone and style of your messages right from your Samsung keyboard.

Now, let’s talk about the 2022 flagships. If you have the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, or Galaxy Tab S8 series, you’re in for a treat with a broader range of Galaxy AI features. However, there’s one feature these devices won’t support: Instant Slow-mo. This tool lets you slow down videos with a simple long press on the screen, but it seems the older chipsets in these devices can’t handle it.
